A Capitol Hill briefing covering Mercer's 2017 National Survey of Employer-Sponsored Health Plans highlighted new employer strategies to control costs and improve the quality of care. Mercer's Beth Umland and Tracy Watts detailed employer advances in plan design and outlined key findings for congressional staff, including 2017 cost increases, the state of high-deductible health plans, and the continuing threat posed by the Affordable Care Act's "Cadillac" tax.
