Shalini Sharma has been with Mercer for about 3.5 years. Before joining Mercer Japan, she worked with Mercer India for 3 years as Industry Leader for Manufacturing & Engineering, Energy, Oil & Gas and Not-for-Profit Industries. She is working as part of the Rewards Solution Consulting team in Mercer Japan.
She has over 18 years of experience in the area of rewards management covering compensation benchmarking, benefits benchmarking, compensation restructuring, pay range design, fitment of salaries, HR harmonization, pay equity etc. she has also worked in the areas of organization design, job description, employees engagement surveys, 360 degree feedback, HR audit, HR policies, etc.
In India, she has worked cross industries like Energy, Consumer, Retail, Life Sciences, Chemical, Manufacturing, Engineering, Public Sector Units, Central Government Organizations, Not-for-profit etc. She has worked with both Indian and multinational clients in rewards management across various solution areas like compensation, benefits, title/grade, workforce metrics, policies & practices etc. She has partnered with the clients to translate their problem statement, understand the organization philosophy, recognize the right solution and enable them to proactively create the right value proposition for the employees.
Shalini holds Bachelor of Technology degree in Chemical Engineering from HBTI, Kanpur University, India. She has also done Certification as Project Research from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India.
