Partner, Atlantic Canada Market Leader, Mercer Canada
Lori is a Partner and Mercer’s Market Leader in Atlantic Canada, as well as representing the Atlantic Provinces on the Canadian Leadership Team. Lori is responsible for Mercer’s business success in the Atlantic region, achieved through an equally strong focus on our people and our clients.
Lori is also a senior consultant and relationship manager, working with employers, committees, boards of trustees and others on a broad range of issues relating to employment arrangements in the public and private sectors. Lori is a lawyer, and her practice over her 15+ years at Mercer has included a special emphasis on governance, compliance and risk management.
Lori also spent several years as a senior leader in the corporate services division of a large regional telecommunications provider, where she was responsible for the compensation, pension, benefits, and performance and talent management programs for 10,000+ employees. She also practiced labour and employment law with an Atlantic Canadian regional law firm.
Lori holds a Bachelor of Arts from Acadia University and a law degree from Dalhousie University Law School. She is a practicing member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society.
