Human Resources Leader, Mercer Canada
As Human Resources Leader, Kimm Maugeri works with leadership to align Mercer Canada’s people strategy to our country, region and global objectives. She leads the Canadian HR function to enable our 1,000 colleagues’ wellbeing and development, as well as attract, retain and engage an increasingly diverse workforce.
Since joining Mercer in 2019 in the Global Talent & Inclusion Centre of Expertise, Kimm informed the US & Canada regional talent strategy, geared at helping colleagues bring the best version of themselves to work, with a focus on learning, performance management, assessment and engagement. With diversity and inclusion as a critical focus, she also played a key role in shaping Canada’s Diversity & Inclusion plan.
A 20-year HR veteran, Kimm previously held senior HR roles in the energy, legal, professional services and insurance fields. Most recently, she was the Corporate Vice President and Talent Lead for the Insurance division at New York Life Insurance Company.
Kimm graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labour Relations. She also holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology from the Teacher’s College at Columbia University.
Kimm has served on the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association of Cornell’s School of Industrial and Labour Relations, and as a mentor with the Financial Women’s Association of New York.
