Mercer is running series of Compensation and Benefits Training workshops in May and June. The training workshops will be aimed at Compensation and benefits professionals, HR Business Partners and HR Managers / Directors who want to supplement their practical knowledge with sound theoretical support. The workshop is interactive and practical to help all attendees incorporate the key concepts into their own organisations’ situations. Day 1:

  • How to interpret survey results
  • Market matching
  • Position Evaluation and regressed market information
  • Developing a salary structure – also hands-on Excel session!
  • Paying for the position / person

Mercer will issue all qualifying attendees with a certificate upon completion.

Day 2:

  • Understanding of the approach and process
  • Ability to measure external competitiveness
  • Ability to measure internal equity
  • Ability to measure the nature, extent and strength of the relationships between performance and compensation
  • Understand the implications of the measurement findings for making changes in the compensation strategy, policies, programs and actions
  • Objectives and rationale for conducting analysis & update of compensation plans
  • Ability to prepare a comprehensive set of compensation program update recommendations for approval by leader
